Antony, who joined Loyola College, Chennai in 1998, started, after finishing college, his own studio named 'Audiophiles', where he first did sound engineering and later composed jingles for TV and for documentaries. It was then, when Aascar Ravichandran approached Antony to compose music for the film Dishyum and he eventually entered the Tamil film industry. However, the soundtrack of the film Sukran, directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar, was released first and became his debut album.
