In Perplexity, open Connectors (from Customize in the sidebar or Account settings). Click + Custom connector, choose Add MCP connector, name it vidIQ, and paste the vidIQ MCP server URL. 1Open Perplexity Connectors (also under Customize in the sidebar).
2Click + Custom connector, then choose Add MCP connector (Remote in some versions).
3Name it vidIQ and paste the MCP Server URL shown here. If Authentication and Transport options appear, choose OAuth and Streamable HTTP.
4Check the acknowledgement box, then click Add.
5Open the vidIQ connector, click to connect, and sign in with your vidIQ account.
6Start a new thread with vidIQ enabled in your connectors and ask for YouTube research.
