Si bien es cierto que obtener algo de experiencia práctica es obviamente algo bueno, también necesitas algún tipo de estrategia. Así que, responde a estas preguntas:

¿Qué quieres que tu canal logre en YouTube?

 y cuando respondas a esto, intenta responder desde la perspectiva del espectador, no desde tu perspectiva. Así que no quiero oír hablar de llegar a 10.000 suscriptores, un millón de vistas, o lo que sea. Si tus espectadores saben que estás en esto por tu propio beneficio, se darán cuenta y se desconectarán inmediatamente. Los espectadores quieren saber qué pueden ganar con el contenido, y tú quieres venderlo tanto como sea posible en tus vídeos.

 De nuevo, intenta ser lo más específico posible. ¿Qué rango de edad? ¿Qué género, si se trata de un género en particular? ¿Qué tipo de demográfica? ¿Qué es lo que les interesa? Necesitas saber quién va a ver tu contenido.

 Hay millones de canales de juegos por ahí, cientos de miles de canales de Fortnite por ahí. ¿Cómo vas a distinguir tu contenido de todos los demás que ya están en YouTube haciendo contenido? Necesitas romper el status quo, no unirte a él, porque nunca serás visto.

 ¿Va a ser todos los días, una vez a la semana, a una hora determinada del día? Piensa en cuándo es más probable que tu audiencia vea YouTube, y cuánto pueden ver por semana, y luego adapta tu contenido a esos hábitos de visualización, y piensa si vas a hacer vídeo a la carta, transmisiones en vivo, ¿qué será lo mejor para ti y tu audiencia?
