Hi! I am Milton Chang of Bonsai Heirloom, a company I co-founded in 2022 to provide reliable information and high quality bonsai. Our goal is for Bonsai Heirloom to become a go-to for bonsai that you can grow into an heirloom. Bonsai is “living art” and a perfect gift for your children and friends to remember you by (available in the third quarter of 2024). I have been a bonsai enthusiast for over 50 years and am a proud Director of the National Bonsai Foundation. I learned from well-known traditional bonsai masters such as Harry Hirao and John Naka, and have been experimenting to develop what may be called a “Lifestyle Bonsai Method” that is consistent with the busy American lifestyle. The shortcuts that I learned by experimenting enable me to create valuable specimen bonsai without taking time away from my professional activities. I am happy to share with you what I have learned to make bonsai as prevalent as any house plant.
