In the city were dependent on someone else to provide us with everything we needed, like electricity, water, and food. We knew that if any one of those systems failed we would be stuck and need someone to rescue us. So, we packed up our family and moved to a 7-acre piece of raw land in North Idaho. We’re just regular middle-class folks with very little practical experience in building, gardening, or raising animals. But, we were willing to give it a shot and couldn’t be happier with our decision.
