## Channel description

Written by the channel:

> I live on Svalbard, an island close to the North Pole!
>
> My name is Cecilia, I’m from Sweden, and I’ve called Svalbard home for over a decade. I live in a cabin outside Longyearbyen with Christoffer and my dog Grim, and I make videos about our life here.
>
> Svalbard is a pretty unusual place to call home, and on my channel I take you along for what life looks like in the World’s Northernmost town. From the extreme seasons of Polar Night and Midnight Sun to regular life at our cabin and the more unusual realities of living this far north (yes, that includes watching out for polar bears 🐻‍❄️).
>
> 📚 You can also check out my New York Times bestselling books, Life on Svalbard and The Polar Night Adventure!
